This Vintage Slingerland 1970s 5x14" Gene Krupa "Sound King" COB Snare Drum w/Case & Stand is in great condition! Add it to your collection today! Designed for the legendary Gene Krupa himself, this drum is a timeless classic!

Aside from some small cosmetic signs of use, this drum is in great condition for its age! Hardware is fully functional (strainer is smooth, some slight pitting, minimal rust, normal fingerprints/scuffs, muffler works, all original parts). The shell’s edges and interior look great, but the outside has some pitting and scratches (pictured) and there is a small dent on the shell around the strainer, muffler, and butt plate (around the strainer/muffler has been professionally hammered out, pictured). The always classy Niles IL badge is secure. Includes matching hard case and stand (has a name written on the legs, see pictures). Sonically, this snare is snappy, responsive, articulate, and has that classic rimshot sound! More photos available upon request.
