Aside from some from small scratches (clearly photographed), this drum is in remarkable condition for its age and presents like it just stepped out of a time machine from 125 years ago! All parts are completely original (even the calfskin heads & gut wires) and the drum is fully functional. There are no major defects or broken parts and while this is obviously a museum-worthy piece, the drum is also playable. Advertised as being “suitable for drum corps and boy scout work”, this drum features a spring brass shell, nickel plated rods and calfskin heads (which are still intact)!
