Aside from some normal cosmetic signs of use, this drum is in excellent condition! Hardware is fully functional (strainer is smooth, tension rods, no pitting/rust, scuffs, all original parts). Shell has very minimal scuffs/scratches, and functions just fine (round, edges/interior look very healthy, no mods, still has interior label, see photos). The Tama Starphonic badge is nice and secure and clear. A slightly thicker 1.2mm brass shell and new Grooved Hoop gives this drum rich, warm resonance and sharp projection. This drum has an exceptionally wide frequency and tuning range, allowing for great sonic variety simply by adjusting the tuning and snappy snares. With such versatility, this is a drum that will complement any musical style or playing situation. Sonically, this snare is warm, resonant, and loud with sharp projection!
