Metal Sounds 24" Spacedrum Evolution 9 Notes Anaziska

The Spacedrum 9 tones Anaziska scale starts with a C3 and ends on Bb4, then it's one of the largest range of all the Spacedrum models. Greater than conventional models 8 notes, with a diameter of 60 cm, it can play on notes with remarkable bass. This model is aimed both at experienced musicians, as conscious people play on a handpan offering deep sounds and vibrations. It can be put on a stand or on your laps despite it's a bit larger than regular handpan.

New Spacedrum Evolution is the fifth generation of stainless steel Spacedrum. Made of a special stainless steel alloy, the instrument is indefinitely protected against the effects of corrosion, even in extreme weather conditions. In addition, it is harder than conventional steel, which prolongs the tuning performance over time and its structural strength. The sound range is respected and the gains in sustain and sound volume are obvious.

With a polished Double Ding, the central note now emits a more matt sound, and allows a more percussive playing compared to the previous generation of Spacedrum. The diameters of the Dimples (buttons located in the center of the notes) have been increased to further improve the overall balance of the instrument. Like the ding, the dimples are polished and give this new model of Handpan a sober and luxurious design, reflecting its quality.

The layout of the notes of the Spacedrum Evolution is inverted compared to the other handpans, like the Spacedrum Nitro for example. Here the Ding is played with the right hand and we continue the scale up by alternating left and right hand. See above the diagram of the notes or download the manual.

This instrument is fragile and needs to be well protected when handled or shipped. The supplied bag is specially designed for a good protection of the Spacedrum.
