Remo Ebony Powerstroke 3 Bass Drumhead w/ Center Hole

The Powerstroke 3 head is a single ply ambassador-weight head with an underlay ring at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted over-ring. The Ebony Powerstroke 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted overtones. Ebony P3 heads are best known for use as a resonant bass drum head. This creates perfect balance of mid and low tones that has quickly made Ebony Powerstroke 3 one of Remo’s most preferred resonant bass drumheads.

The Remo Ebony Powerstroke 3 Bass Drum Head "CH" version is made with a pre-cut 10" hole in the center of the drumhead. This head creates significantly less "ring" and "boominess" for a tighter and more controlled sound. You can reach in to put in, take out or adjust additional muffling and it works great for microphone placement.
