A&F Drums

A&F Drum Co. is a relatively new company in the world of drums, having been founded in 2016 by drummer and entrepreneur Ramy Antoun. Despite its young age, the company has made big waves in the drumming community for its unique approach to drum design and construction.

A&F's drums are made from a variety of materials including raw brass, copper, and steel shells that are spun by hand to create their signature look and sound. This process involves hammering and hand-finishing the shells to give them a vintage, artisanal quality.

The idea for A&F was born out of Antoun's personal experience recording with vintage drums and his desire to create a drum that was both aesthetically pleasing and sonically superior. He drew inspiration from vintage drums and sought to combine the best elements of those designs with modern construction techniques and materials.

A&F's flagship model is the Raw Brass snare drum, which has been praised for its warm, resonant tone and its unique appearance. The company also produces a range of other drums, including full drum kits, cymbals, and accessories.

Despite being a relatively new company, A&F has already established a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Its drums have been used by a number of high-profile drummers, including Dan Mayo and Jamie Wollam (Tears for Fears).
