LP Galaxy Fiberglass Bongos deliver maximum volume and snap. Steel reinforced bearing edges molded into the fiberglass provides maximum strength.  Inside of the shell is reinforced with a layer of Kevlar fiber, the bullet proof vest material which is two times stronger than steel, for even greater durability.

Features: 

• 7-1⁄4 in. and 8-5⁄8 in. natural rawhide heads, hand-picked for quality
• Gold tone 5⁄16 in. diameter tuning lugs have been carefully formed to hug the shell, making them as comfortable for playing as possible
• LP Comfort Curve II Rims and gold tone cast aluminum bottoms
