Yamaha applied their new metal shell manufacturing process to an all-new Steel shell to create a drum with a bright tone that really cuts thru. Yamaha's Steel Shell snare drums feature 1.2mm thick shells, 1.6mm triple flanged hoops, 20 strand snares.
