Yamaha Drums - Yamaha Oak Custom Snare Drums

As with the rest of the Oak Custom series the snare drums have a powerful sound with a deep fundamental tone and excellent attack. The 14"x5.5" shells are 6-ply 6mm 100% oak with 45 degree bearing edges and 1.8mm deep snare beds. The Oak Custom snare have 10 separate, newly designed, rounded chrome lugs per head. Each lug is fixed to the drum shell by a single bolt, thus allowing maximum shell vibration. The 2.3mm chromed steel DynaHoop rims provide pinpoint, stable tuning with cracking rim-shots. Remo Ambassador coated batter and snare side heads are supplied as standard.
