Yamaha applied their new metal shell manufacturing process to an all-new Aluminum shell to create a drum that's warm, dry and very responsive at all dynamic ranges. Yamaha Aluminum snare drums feature 2mm thick shells, 10 lugs , 2.3mm Dynahoops, and a 20 strand snare.
