Coated Pinstripes offer a similar resonant tone to a clear Pinstripe, but with a slightly warmer attack. They're popularly used for snare drum applications. The coated texture offers a better finish for brushes. Dave Garibaldi and Dan Morris use Coated Pinstripes.
