LP Generation III Bongos offer a slightly larger head size with the large half of the bongos featuring a head diameter of 9 instead of the more traditional 8 5/8. This provides additional bottom end response and greater volume. They have a similar shell contour to LP Generation II Bongos, are crafted of kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak and also have a specially designed steel backing plate.

• Hand selected, natural rawhide heads
• Traditional rims and Cuban style bottoms, both crafted from high strength steel in a chrome finish
• 5⁄16" diameter tuning lugs have been carefully formed to hug the shell, making the bongos as comfortable for playing as possible
• Available in a natural light wood finish
