The challenge here was to produce a strong head that would withstand high tension and the impact of heavy sticks and mallets, yet would project musical pitches across a football field. We succeeded with our Marching Supreme Tenor heads (MST), which consist of two plies of 7mil polyester film. Evans Tenor heads provide exceptional tone, resonance and durability.
