Rupp's Drum School Teachers:

- David Petry received a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in music education in 1999 from Ball State University. He moved to Denver in 1999 and received a Masters of Music (M.M.) from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver in 2001. David has been teaching since 1994 and has been playing percussion instruments professionally since the age of 16.
- David has performed throughout the United States and Europe. In 1997, David performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland. Recently, David has been teaching, recording percussion and drum set for sound tracks and audio recordings, and performing in Colorado and New York City.
- David has performed with Chris Wood (MMW), Jon Faddis, Randy Brecker, Eric McFadden, Cecil “P-Nut” Daniels, Israel Vibrations, Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Johnston (Yonder Mountain String Band), Fareed Hague, Eric Gunnison, Pat Bianchi, Jarad Astin, Ben Senterfit, and many others.

- Devon Rogers started playing drums in elementary school and performed with bands in junior high school. Upon moving to Colorado, he continued his musical education at MDS (The Metro Drum School) with Gary LeFrancois. He is competent in the Bass and Electric Guitar giving him a greater understanding of song construction and instrumentation. He also attended the University of Colorado at Denver for Audio Engineering learning the techniques of Studio Recording and Live Sound Engineering.
- He started teaching at The Metro Drum School and is currently teaching at Rupp’s Drum School.
- Devon has also performed through out the US and Europe with several bands including Quadramess (Westword’s Best of 06 Supergroup), and Kingdom of Magic (Westword’s Best of 07, Best live band). He also continues to do live sound engineering in several Denver live music venues.
