Crafted from North American Red Oak, these hand-made bongos utilize a special beveled bearing edge that assures superior clarity and attack. Claw hooks are widely spaced on either side for a more comfortable seated position and can be used with optional BPAD1 Bongo Pads for a firm, effortless grip. With a hybrid Classic Contour steel hoop, die-cast bottom for strength, choice of any Lacquer Custom or Lacquer Specialty finish and a unique custom head combination (horse hide on the 7 Macho and cow hide on the 8.5 Hembra), California Series bongos redefine high-end percussion.
